Nirvana the band. That's it.

Nirvana is a grunge band formed in Aberdeen, Washington that ran from 1987 until frontman Kurt Cobain's death in 1994. Despite their relatively short time making music, they are recognized as one of the most influential alternative rock groups of the 1990s; they released three studio albums: Bleach (1989), Nevermind (1991), and In Utero (1993). A powerful group, Kurt, Krist, Dave, and touring member Pat Smear have touched lives and continue to do so to this day through their powerful music and intense passion.

While the primary members of the band were Kurt, Krist, and Dave, there were other members that are worth noting: Pat Smear, touring member, Lori Goldston, cellist for In Utero, and past members such as Jason Everman and Chad Channing.

Why Nirvana?

The better question to ask is "when and why did you get into Nirvana?"

Now we're talking!

I've been into Nirvana for many years at this point, though they only developed into my biggest hyperfixation in around 2020. Ever since I had first been exposed to their music (thanks, Mom), I felt a major connection. To tell the truth, I don't know how to describe this connection, but you've got to believe me on this. I suppose this just kept growing until my brain decided to make the big jump and latch onto them as my big hyperfixation. They're my all time favorite band and introduced me to the world of grunge in general. I'm forever grateful for that.
